post a commentGreat Idea! Lovely collage by the way...Making me hungry again and I just had lunch over and hour ago...
so obvious again you love shellfish...that's got the most recipes...;p
My linguine vongole was your drunken clam recipe; followed by my chicken satay (which I made, with slight variation) after I saw your pix. Same with steamed tofu, after seeing your pix, then feel like cooking it ;D
OK, the next on the list looks like egg tarts (bought the crust already.YEY! but the utensils...not yet)
What u cooking next ? Any CNY food?
Hi, woaw, all these recipes !!! I want to test all ;-) The first picture in the top left corner is the chicken satay right ??? I will test that this week-end I hope...I should read once the recipe and see if I have all what I need!
All your pictures are really nice, great job, congratulation !!!
Have a nice day
Claude
This looks like a Food Menu List from a fine dining restaurant.
The recipes are there, the pictures are beautiful. Ah.. Perfect for Rasa Malaysia Fine Dining. When's it opening?
Or is it a delivery service with online ordering? :-)
I would love to go to a place instead of just a list of name of the dishes, they have recipe cards with pictures just like yours, all in a neat folder. I would be tempted to order everything inside!
what a nice index, very good reference.
Hi, I have a technical question: Your pictures are really nice, which camera do you use ??? I will by a new one but I hesitate...so ;-)
Cheers
Claude
RM, one word for this post : WAH LAU! :oD
Oops...that's two! LOL!
ooooo, very hungry now drooling over all that food. Thxs for the recipes.
Sweet! I don't need to buy a Malaysian cookbook.
Unka - did you drool all over your monitor again? :P
Tiga - no need utensils for baking lah, just buy a muffin pan and can already.
Claude - I look forward to your chicken satay post.
KP - you want to be an investor for RM Fine Dining?
Chris - when are you making my clams again for your friends?
WMW - thanks.
Boo - good, I like people drooling all over their keyboard when reading my post and see my pictures. LOL!
Elmo - yeah or you can wait for me to publish my Rasa Malaysia cookbook and then you buy. ;)
thank-you!
I agree with Elmo Monster... I will never need another Malaysian or Chinese cookbook, or any food magazine period! Simply stunning!
Bee : Maybe we could start-up a Restaurant together? Idea! Hahaha. I can supply the tissues ;)
Budding Cook - you are most welcome. :)
PE - Yay! I will have another customer if and when I have a real cookbook. :)
Unka - I think tissue manufacturing in Thailand is probably more viable and profitable!!!!!!
wah. with a menu like this, i am sure make lots of profit. can consider investing. :-)
wow!!! very impressive. may i ask, are you a student or the spouse of a student? i hardly recall any students being able to cook like you do.
I love your website! I'm gonna try follow your recipe for the Egg Tart this weekend.
Oh I agree that the Golden Gate Bakery you mentioned is very popular in San Francisco. I will be going there later on. hehe
Do you have recipes for Apong Manis and Apom Balik? Or do you where I can get it?
Thank you!
This is AMAZING!!!
I stumbled across this blog searching for pictures to show my boyfriend of some authentic malaysian cuisine, and coming from a malaysian background myself--I have to say, I am VERY IMPRESSED! You definitely have a talent here, every one of these pictures makes my mouth water! =) Keep it up! *bookmarked

Why all the restaurants recommended are in CA?
What an amazing recipe and photo collection of simple Malaysian dish....
Btw, any chance that you have the secret behind the mamak teh tarik? Or any Malaysian restaurant that offers authentic teh tarik in OC?
What a great blog! I love all your pics, very nicely done...they make people drool all over, haha! I'm a novice flogger, so there's a lot to learn here from you!
