Photoblog: Chinese New Year
Click here to view some pictures I snapped during the first two days of Chinese New Year.As I am on a painfully slooooow 56K dial-up connection now, I will keep this short. I hate jetlag, I miss my broadband connection in the US, but Chinese New Year has been very fun so far. I will post more soon, hopefully; the WIFI connection at Starbucks seems like a promising alternative now...please stay tuned. post a commentWhat a beautiful flower! Your picture is very good...
You've touched down! :D
The flower really signifies 春天的到来 , 金猪的到来 !
Gong Hei Fat Choi!!! See you on 24!
I loved the Penang pictures. It sort of brought me home again-even if I had just left it less than a month ago, it seems like forever. You have a great time there, enjoy yourself, eat lots and just soak in Penang. I am so depressed already in the Midwest.
Gong Xi Fa Cai.
Xin Nian Kuai Le!
Salut, nice pictures !!! 56k dial-up connection, are you joking ??? It is not possible, it doesn't existe anymore ;-) Fortunately Starbucks is here ;-)
Cheers
Claude

you can find this dish in penang, an old chinese restaurant in chulia lane (forgotten the restaurant name).
