Food Porn: Baked Fish and Seafood Parcel in KL
 This is part 2 of my 5-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur International Airport. You can read all about Part 1 here.This is Portuguese baked fish (plus squid and clams), found at the obscure corner of Petaling Street/Chinatown in KL. In my opinion, this is the best baked fish/seafood that I have ever tasted. (I can't even find similar offerings in Penang!). I got hooked when I was attending college in KL many years ago and haven't had the fix for at least 5 years. So, I was just so delighted to savor the taste, aroma, and the very spicy kick that this seafood parcel delivered... oh yes this is definitely very yummy! and unfortunately cant be found in penang. or at least i'm not aware of its existence in penang. i have sampled some portugese baked squids at one of the hawker centers in penang. but it was really overpriced and not good.
Heeeyyyy...that's my favourite place for the Portugese grilled fish too!!!! :D
But as Petaling Street is really far away, and parking's a hassle, sometimes when I'm willing to settle for less than the best, I go to Oasis Food Court in MidValley
Still can't beat the Petaling Street one, though!

Congratulations for your blog! From time to time I come for a visit and I'm always delighted with the food (I love asian food) and also with your photos (which is also a passion for me). As a portuguese girl I must recommend you to come to Portugal in a next trip, as we have a very tasteful and rich cooking tradition. I must tell that you wouldn't be disappointed...

Amidst all the hype, I had one bad dining experience there last time. They not only completely forgot about our orders, but feeling the least apologetically, decided to serve another table of 10, who were supposedly 'friends' with the owners. Waited for more than 45 minutes I think. Sigh ....
I've eaten there before while some dishes was delicious, we had a parcel that was badly burnt. No apologies from the ownsers as well.
